One of the best things about the Cajun Crab Shack is its variety of offerings. The menu isn’t just about crab-though, of course, that’s the star of the show. You’ll find a diverse selection of dishes inspired by Louisiana’s famous flavors. From gumbo to crawfish étouffée, the menu covers all the classics. But for the real treat, you can't go wrong with their signature crab boils. The crabs are seasoned just right, drenched in a spicy Cajun sauce that gives them a kick without overwhelming the natural sweetness of the meat. Paired with corn on the cob and potatoes, it's the ultimate comfort meal.
The shrimp po' boy is another fan favorite. It's piled high with crispy shrimp, fresh lettuce, and a tangy sauce that pulls the entire sandwich together. Plus, if you're in the mood for something lighter, there are always options like seafood salads or shrimp cocktails to start your meal. The kitchen here knows how to balance flavors, making sure each dish feels unique yet familiar.
But the true charm of Cajun Crab Shack goes beyond its food-it’s the experience. The service is friendly and attentive, and you never feel rushed, no matter how busy the place gets. The staff takes pride in explaining the dishes, making sure everyone leaves with a smile and a full stomach. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, the hospitality here makes you feel like part of the family.

Their reviews speak volumes, with many customers noting the consistent quality and the mouthwatering taste of their dishes. When it comes to prices, Cajun Crab Shack offers good value for money. While it's not the cheapest seafood spot in town, the portion sizes are generous, and the flavors are undeniably worth the cost. It’s one of those places where you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth with every bite.

Hidden little gem in Thousand oaks, food is excellent and the service is great. This place is underrated and because of that you do not have to wait very long to be seated
The "lunchbox" special is a great deal--$14.99 --for a huge pan of seafood, sausage, corn cob and potato. The House Blend spices at medium spicy was relatively mild and delicious. Fabio, the proprietor, is super friendly and attentive. Plenty of tables, never a wait to get seated. Great place.
I went for the first time. LOVED IT. I'm a foodie and I hadn't even thought about writing a review when I took photos of some of the food we got.The Crab Shack House Mix Sauce is DELICIOUS. EXCELLENT service. Our server's name is Jonathan. He and his assistant (I never got his name) was very nice. I came with a big group. Jonathan double- checked with us to make sure he split our check correctly before running it. Everyone LOVED their food, even the kids. I'm glad I found a little seafood gem. I'm saving up to go again.
